Stars Will Shine Where You Want them to.

It's been a while since I updated, I realised. It's not that I have nothing to blog about. There are so many exciting things that have happened that I have so many things to write. Ok, let's just say I'm lazy to blog about them. Maybe here's a short recap of what happened in the previous weeks.

-Joined in the craze at Zouk's Halloween party. For pics, please do check out my Friendster. I don't want you to be freaked out by my the pics here. Haha.

-Spent a few fruitful days with dearie. Memorable. I enjoyed the nights she slept beside me. The days she woke beside me. :)

-Checked out on my desired courses at SIM. Feeling rather inspired. *Insert inspired smiley here if any*

-Went for a bbq outing to celebrate dearie's sis' birthday at West Coast Park last week. Not really much of an outing for us. It's more like xiaoyingnie's bbq gathering with her friends. If you want to know, I got the bbq fire started. And I inhaled some smoke. And I ate some beehoon with curry and crabmeat and hotdog.

Ok. That's a quick glimpse.

Now here's the latest update. Went for A-Mei's Star Tour concert '07 with dearie and xiaoyingnie just 2 days ago at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. And man, I was blown away by her live singing. She was just awesome on stage, with her newly cut stylish hair. And her voice... Sexy. Here's some pics from the concert.

I like this outfit. Black and white. Cool.

I didn't know she could play the guitar. And an electric one too!

She sang my favourite song "Ting Hai" in this ravishing white gown. Awesome!

What do you get from a Superstar who's wearing a glam gown and elevated on a platform? Eye feast.

Throughout the concert, A-Mei was so high that the audience cheered for her practically every minute. Be it upbeat songs or ballads, she just managed to get the groove going and serenade the crowd with her voice. This is the first time I went for her concert, and I'm glad I did. Cos it was fabulous! I don't usually idolise people. But power-packed singers like her, I can't resist. The thing about her is that she is really humble, always thanking the crowd, and yet still maintained her stardom poise on stage. It was amazing how she can kept on singing for 3 hours or so, inclusive of nearly 45 minutes of encore.

After the concert, we waited near the entrance gate. And guess what? We got interviewed by the cameraman!! Haha. That means if the concert dvd is out, you can catch us on screen too. Behind-the-scenes that is. Haha. But still, it was cool!!!

To think of it, this is probably only the second paid concert I went to. The first was Michael Buble's. It was awesome as well. But A-Mei's was the one who kept me wanting more. She is undeniably the taiwan diva queen. And I think she deserves every fame she's getting.

We are the stars of the day too. If we believe we are, we are. =)
