Urgent Agendas
Guess what? I took 2 days leave just to get out of the boring mundane life in camp. It's a temporary relief alright, but I figured I just can't drain away my precious time eating and sleeping, eating and sleeping away in camp. No way. I wanted to find out more about what I wanted to study next year. So I'm on the look out.
Anyway, peng also took leave today. We were supposed to spend a fun-filled day. So we went to K Lunch at Cineleisure as they were having this $5++ promotion. I would say we had quite a rolling good time. And the lunch wasn't that bad, except that it was probably too little to fill my otherwise voracious appetite. Haha. But yeah, the singing was good. We took some pics, as usual. Would post them up once I got them from peng.
Anyway, I find myself on the crossroads again. This time I'm seriously thinking about my future. As in life right after ORD. Should I further my studies? Or should I just dive straight into the workforce? Seriously it's like I'm few months away from ORD and I'm still feeling confused. I mean I feel that I have the drive to find out about what I wanted to do. It's just that I really have a broad spectrum of interests. For instance, I wanted to do Communications. But then, Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, and so on sounds appealing. Not like I'm able to handle all but I realise that human behaviour is something of interest. I guess the fact that I studied Literature in college made me even more intrigued since I have opened up more doors of perspectives. But then again, I also like drama stuff. Like acting, scriptwriting, directing maybe? So I want to give Lasalle a try to. But I know I have to have like some portfolio prepared or something. And it's definitely not a mainstream degree to take up. So I'm really weighing the pros and cons. So for the forthcoming weeks I shall be hunting schools and gathering as much information as I can.
Hopefully, this time round, I can really abide to the saying "action speaks louder than words".
As for now, laziness, you are COMMANDED to go away!!!
Haha. Haha. Haha.
Ok.

I had the same dilemma as u.. I was like "OMG all the arts subjects are so fun.. I wanna do all of them. Which one shall i major in?"
This dilemma is easily solved. Firstly u gotta know wat the syllabus is like. As I mentioned to u before, recce the schools u are considerin and see what they have to offer. Meantime, also read up on those which u have more interest in. (I must forewarn u tt philo is really pretty abstract, so u REALLY gotta read up. U can try reading "Sophie's World" and the teachings of Immanuel Kant first)
Psychology is interesting but u must love science, experiments and be observant about ppl
I cant really comment much on the rest
