Before I begin this entry, just a thought. If life is a fairytale, how would you want it to start?
Yesterday was such a fun-filled day! It was days before when I was talking to Qianhui over the phone while I was in camp serving guard when we decided to go picnic on Friday. And yea, it came true! Early in the morning, I drove out to fetch the peeps who were going, including Qianhui, her sis Qianying, Yingpeng and Qiaoyu. We stopped by Qiaoyu's place at Tampines first and got some snacks at the supermart there before driving to Pasir Ris Park. Wah imagining driving from one end of Singapore to the other end. It could be tedious. But I love driving. Haha.
It was such a sunny day. The temperature's a freaking 33 degrees celsius. But the sun was so inviting. It had been quite a while since I had a beach outing. Besides my last outing with my camp mates at Sentosa. Yup. But this time round I went to Pasir Ris Park for the first time. And it was a nice place. Neighbourhood-friendly, cosy, warm!
So here's the pics you've been waiting for! In all we took more than 200 pics! Can you actually believe that? Haha.
And the craze just got worse! Please try not to laugh. I'm serious ok. Wahaha.
Ok, we were seriously not pointing at anything significant.
The kampong trend is so in. You can see it from this pic.
Some pics taken with peng...
Pics taken with Qianhui...
Let the slideshow continue... wahaha..
Does this pic strike a keen resemblence? Yep, just look below at the sketch I drew sometime ago. :)
Now for some group pics...
After the whole afternoon of frolicking around the sands, frisbee-playing, card-shuffling and frenzy snaps of photoshoots, we went for a washup. But the photo-taking just refused to cease. Hahaha.
And before we left... leaving a trail of splendid memories...
To come to think of it, if only we could be leading simple kampong lives. Without the hassles of everyday life. The stress and responsibility that are the barnacles of it. If only life is so much easier, even a cup of teh will work wonders.

If life was a fairy tale, I wont mind it start from a sleep, like Alice in Wonderland.
I haven heard of Pasir Ris park; I thot the only park in the east was East Coast Park. Guess Im too swakoo in my own little island.
200pics. Like wow!! I wonder if my camera can ever do that.
I like yr "Blue Riding Hood" pic and the one before it. Interesting how plastic bags make such excellent cam props. The last time I flirted with a plastic bag was to wear it on my head during heavy rain. I guess u brought it to another level :P
I so like yr quote with the barnacles in it. I think its pretty apt.
Beach outings can hardly go wrong. And Im glad u proved me rite. Glad all of u enjoyed yrself
