DOOODE.

Went Lunar Fusion Bar at Clarke Quay last night to support peng for his performance. I must say it was quite a show dude!

Can you believe it? It's nearly March! Time passes really fast! Looking at my list of resolutions, I realised I still have much work to do! Honestly. Does anyone notice how fast the clock ticks? Do you actually stop and stare at the clock and watch time tick past just like that? Time's freaking running out.

And I still have a list of resolutions to fulfill.

Here's a quick check. I'm currently working on my resolution of keeping fit and strong. The gym sessions so far were rather fulfilling. Learned lots of new things. And at least I feel that I'm back in touch with exercising.

As for the part of being more organised, I think I really need to put in more effort on this! I think my friends(close ones esp) know that I'm a rather erratic person when it comes to time management. If you want to meet me, just give me a call or sms. If I'm free, I would definitely try to meet up. I know that's being very flexible. You think it's good? The ironic thing is, I don't think so! HAHAHA. Gosh. The diary planner that I bought was left on the shelf for quite some time. The thing is, I didn't bother to write down my daily schedule yet. Usually, I try to remember everything by memory. Just making sure that I'm constantly keeping my memory working. Ok, maybe that's an excuse. Or was I just plain lazy? Gosh.

Job wise, a few days ago, I tried submitting a few resumes. I did receive calls and replies. But most were from financial companies looking for agents. Can you believe it? I mean, give me a break. And hence, I think I'm taking a break for this job hunt thingy. Kinda pointless during this bad time too. But that doesn't mean I would close options to temp jobs.

Having said that, I have decided to embark on my own career. Yep. I am now starting to learn the ropes from my dad's business and help him out. Hopefully, I can carve a road of my own and build a successful journey ahead!

On another note, I have an assignment due one day later. And a presentation this weekend. My preparation level as of now? Zero.

And now look who's laughing!

How wonderful it is..
Been some time since I last blogged! Seems like the updates are getting slower. Is anyone still dropping by to read once in a while? If so, tag and let me know k!
So anyway, Vday just passed. Had a simple yet special valentine's day this year round. Didn't plan much, unlike last year's. However, dearie and me spent valentine's together with qy and her bf. So it's like a double valentine's date, which I think was really cool. Haha. We had this nice cosy dinner at Clarke Quay Central's Manhattan Fish Market. It was a valentine's day set menu, and the seafood platter for two was really great! I would post the pics up next time if I get them ya. But anyway. You could have guessed. A simple evening out on a special day. After dinner, we just went around taking tons of photos. In fact, I like the feeling of a simple dinner and walk. Sometimes, simplicity works wonders. =)

On a different note, I have just watched 2 widely acclaimed movies, namely Slumdog Millionaire and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. And wow! Both were excellent movies, I have to say! Really. Slumdog Millionaire was really quite a refreshing piece. Being set in India, it was really rare to see such a movie on the big screen. However, it had a very promising plot to start off with. A really original script. And the cinematography was just amazing!!! Danny Boyle really did a good job as a director in this movie. He deserved the Golden Globe.
On the other hand, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was a really quaint and charming piece. Brad Pitt was the main character but it was the expressions in his eyes that stole the limelight in this unusual story. Based on a novel itself, it was really quite moving. I thought it had some rather emotional moments in it as well. Although it felt a bit 'draggy' due to the fact that it lasted for nearly 3 hours, it was all worthwhile when you know that you only paid $6 for a student price ticket for a near-3-hour show! Haha. Heard this movie has already garnered a lot of Academy award nods. Guess it could be a tough fight at the Oscars between this and Slumdog Millionaire.

I met Simon yesterday in an impromptu fashion. Haha. Yeah, after the movie, we had a long chat. Thanks for hearing me out pal. I guess I really did confide quite a bit to you. I hope you were not taken aback by my 'confessions'. Haha. Thanks for the sound advices. I would especially remember what you said about not wasting even a minute. That really did spur me for a moment. Whatever it is, it's glad to know that at least there are still true friends around who's willing to listen. =)
And to my dearie bun, sorry for what hurting you again with what I said. You know I didn't mean it. But somehow I lied when I said no one understands me. I think you really do. =)
