A pair of false teeth in an emotional baggage meant for shopping.

You know, life seems rather eratic for me nowadays. Been coping with lots of emotional issue. You can call it the emotional baggage. I wonder how's everyone's emotional baggage weighing? Is there something to weigh the amount of emotion that is going through you? Have you ever thought of that? That if you are on the weighing machine, and realise you have grown heavier, or fatter, to be crude, is it maybe you are carrying too much emotional baggage?

Went to the dentist 2 days ago, like after 3 years of not going for a dental check up?!(The last one was compulsory cos of my braces treatment) Ok. One thing I have to admit. I'm DAMN afraid of visiting the dentist. That phobia's been with me since young. I remember my primary school dental nurse looking so "hostile". I guess my teeth definitely "repels" facing her. And then there's the horror movie "The Dentist". Go watch it if you have to. Haha.

But then, this time round, I volunteered to visit the dentist. Because. Because!! I realise my gums bleed quite often when I brushed my teeth. Being quite bothered by this, I booked an appointment at Jurong Medical Centre after much procrastination. Quite a medical environment there. (Duh!) But anyway, undergone a checkup, scaling and polishing. Man, was I rather tense during the procedure. The dentist had to ask me "Are you ok? Just relax". Lol. How embarrassing! Especially in front of a female dentist.

And I thought Leona Lewis should sing "Bleeding Gums" instead. Haha. OOP! (Out Of Point)!

It wasn't as painful of an ordeal I thought it would be. I had prepared to be reprimanded by the dentist for not taking good care of my teeth. You can't blame me for having generic not-that-healthy gums right? After the scaling and polishing was done, the dentist told me I had to return 2 weeks later for filling of 4 teeth!! Cos they looked like they are decaying! HAHAHA. Ok if that's their excuse for making more revenue, they should let me know! Grrr.

Anyway, I just realised something peculiar about Singaporean men when they go shopping with their girlfriends/wives/flings/partners/whoever. They look as clueless as ever inside a female boutique. Just like how I feel sometimes. Other than carrying bags for their other halves, and the ocassional nod, they just look out-of-place. For me, I usually look into the mirrors to check my hairstyle. I mean, come on. Those shops should have taken into consideration the poor male patrons who just happen to accompany their shopping-crazy girlfriends/wives/flings/partners/whoever right? Like maybe build some corner for gaming or something. Do something innovative! If not, don't blame men who hate shopping.

I'm beginning to hate shopping too. It's like too many things to look at. I'd rather focus on something. That's probably why they say men cannot multi-task as much as women. Blah.

Having said that, I need to start infusing some excitement and adrenaline into my life. And I have to stop hitting on the snooze button each morning.

P.S. By the way, I luuuuuuuuuurve my teeth.
