BEST SOLDIER NOMINEE
These few days very busy with parade rehearsal for SAF Day Parade '07. Quite some big event since Minister of Defence and Mr. President himself will be there... Oh man.. another 3 more rehearsals to endure before the big day on 1st July. Hope our effort pay off!
Anyway, took SOC this week. And I passed it at first try!!! My timing was 9.06! Was a major improvement from my 1st year's 9.58. Haha.. Quite satisfied la.. at least I will be free from SOC for the rest of my life!! Wahahahaha..
Oh yea, did I mention I got nominated for Best Soldier award for the month of May? Lol. I was actually quite puzzled how come I got nominated. And my Sergeant Major was the one who nominated me. I didn't really do much I guess, just did my part. So is being quiet and obedient a good thing too? Lol. So anyway I went for CO's interview on Friday(yesterday). I wasn't at all nervous. My Sergeant Major reminded me earlier not to talk like a "mouse". Haha.. I think he's still quite have the wrong perception of me. I can be noisy and loud, if I want. =D So anyway, my CO was just smiling away the whole time while interviewing me. It's quite funny though. He kept staring at my uniform(which I had worn for the earlier 2 parade rehearsals), hence I think it should stink a bit. Wahaha. But the worse part was there's some white stains on the uniform due to the minerals from my perspiration. Oops! Hope he didn't notice that.
But, to quote from my Sergeant Major, who's funny in the way he talks or acts, "I Don't Care!"(high pitch tone)
Best Soldier? Lorl. Laugh out REALLY loud.

Why did u see yr CO? anyway when some big shot smiles its normally good news so kudos to yrself.
SOC in 9.06 is near miraculous. U beat some of the officers in my camp lo!
U will be surprised that just doing yr part can get u "Best Soldier Awards". cos many ppl dun do it, and u r doing great on yr part. So carry on dude, things are really looking up, up and away.
