Going Full Swing... *Swings*

Today, while I was driving to my manager's place at Tampines, it was snowing along the PIE expressway. Well, actually it wasn't. There were bits of styrofoam fleeting and bouncing off the road surface. And while I was still quite enthralled by the self-deluded fantasy I made up, I realised that it was going to quite a long ride again. At least for these two weeks to a month of training.

To those who have no clue what I'm talking about, I think I better explain. Fact is, few weeks back, I responded to an ad on Gumtree. A manager was looking for internet marketing consultants. And I thought I should quickly move on. My previous company sucked big time. Wasn't paid any basic at all. And worse was, there wasn't a single sale so far. Truth is, I haven't been actively working for that company either. Just felt that I didn't belong there. And they didn't even care about us, at all. Thank goodness I only slogged for a tiny bit before deciding not to succumb myself to that free labour anymore.

And so, decided to give this new company a try. It is actually a franchisee under a big international internet marketing company called WSI. Looking at their number of consultants around the world at 1500, it looked rather impressive. And WSI did ring a bell. So yep. Started training since last week. Along with my new colleague, Xuan Wei. Besides the part that I have to travel to Tampines these days, I guess the good thing is, there's a basic! Though not very significant, but definitely some form of encouragement and motivation.

Been learning quite a bit so far. Having said that, I have also been juggling with my tuition assignments. Think I can multi-task pretty well. Haha. BOH BIANz. Been slacking for the past one two years. Felt a bit regretful. But well, shan't wallow in self pity.

At least it's good that I find myself all hyped up towards this new job. While it was an initial struggle having to choose this instead of the financial-planner job, I thought my interests lie better elsewhere. Besides, I thought there isn't any rush to join the financial industry. Right now, am still learning the ropes of the internet technology and how to use it as a good marketing platform. And I am so excited about the possibilities of business on the web. Haha. Totally intriguing.

And school's starting real soon. Like next week? Wow. More things to juggle. Hopefully can manage.

It's a new year, remember? Resolutions ain't meant to be broken. They are meant to be exceeded.

It really is the start of something NEW!

It must have been quite some time since I last updated this blog.

And what's new?

2010 is new.

And definitely more new things ahead.

Been quite busy recently.

I am on a NEW job.

I have more NEW tuitions.

And I am now getting used to being busy. That sounds pretty NEW recently.

No more slacking. No more procrastinating.

I'm off to a NEW start. =D
