Starry starry night
Guess what? I saw over 20 shooting stars last Saturday night! Yep, I joined dearie and her bunch of cousins together with qiaoyu and luther to go shooting-star gazing! We went to this vincinity near Changi Beach which was really pitch dark. There, we had a clear glimpse of the night sky. So dark and so many stars! We reached there around 12 midnight and I already heard squeals and shouts about sighting those shooting stars. While I was the last one to finally get to see one, it still added up to a lot. Plus, I saw these two huge shooting stars! Really worth the trip! It's the Geminid meteor shower. Heard it's still on these few days. But boy! Were we in luck for having to view so many shooting stars within a few hours!
It must have been too chilly there. And I didn't wear any jacket. I fell ill the next day. Got fever. These few days very lethargic. Didn't do anything much. Just stayed at home and sleep, sleep and sleep.
And because of my illness, tuition got delayed. I got to change the timings and whatever. Gahhh.
Well, just hope to get well real soon. Typing this makes me drowsy too.
Ha. Ok. That's all for now.

Start of something new...
Back with some updates. Been pretty busy these days. I would say that it has been pretty eventful for me. Be it hanging out with my friends, catching up with some old pal, or just going for tuition classes, I feel more occupied than before.
And you know what's the good news? I have been waking up early these days. And yes, that's a good sign to show that I'm not wasting my time! Haha. Ought to give myself a pat on the back eh?
Caught up with Shawn early this week. That dude's back from Melbourne. Good to know that we never really run out of topics to talk about. But that dude's still obsessed with wrestling. Surprsingly, that's a comforting thing to know. That some things don't change. Just like friendship. Years may add up, the meetups could be lesser, but well, nothing seems diluted. In fact, it amazes me to see how time flies but some friends do stay and listen. The part on seeing each other grow, that's quite an achievement, eh? ;)
On a random note, when you find yourself being approached by credit card promoters, it is either a sign to show that you are 'old' enough to get one, or that you are 'rich' enough for one. Whenever I get approached by these people, I felt a bit irritated but good in some way. Irritated when I think to myself: "Hey! Do I look that old?" Good because well you know, that I look like I can afford one. That's an irony of two opposites. Haha.
After a long hiatus from exercising and working out, played badminton with dearie yesterday. Gosh. I have been procrasting so long about exercising. Especially after the episode of injured fingers, I haven't been exercising. So ya, it's a good return to a good habit. And exercising produces endorphins, which are like 'happy cells' to boost your mood. Shall make it a point to exercise at least once a week!
Looking ahead though, I think I am seriously getting busier. Wonder if I have time to do what I want for the next half a year at least. Know why? I have registered for the insurance exam papers. And would probably join my sister's company early next year. While I'm excited to know how far I could go, and what I could possibly achieve, I do have some reservations regarding my occupation. I hope relationships don't get compromised. Will try my best to strike a balance no matter how busy I am.
Yesterday's BBQ gathering with my sister's team mates was quite an eye-opener. Got to talk to lots of her colleagues. And I got to learn a lot more about the industry. I also like the culture of her company rather much, basing on the experiences during the training seminars that I went.
And recently, I have taken up two new tuition assignments! Guess it's time to save up before my career kicks off next year.
Sure, there are many considerations. But well, guess it's time I start this route to independence. May not be an easy one, but I'm gonna try to pull through! :)
Oh, and by the way, have written many new articles and poetry recently. For those of you who haven't heard of this, do check out my writing portfolio at http://www.triond.com/users/nightcharmer If you like what you read, do forward the link to your friends! Thanks guys!
Alright, pretty late now. Tuition tomorrow. And more meetups coming up!

Above quote by me out of sudden inspiration.
And that sounds pretty inspiring huh? =D
