Bangkok trip 09!
Before I start to write on serious stuff, here's some pics from the most recent BKK trip!
Ok I'm going to write about it briefly. Shall let the pics do the talking!
So yes, it was just about a month plus ago when we just decided to go Bangkok for shopping trip! Well, dearie was very excited about the idea and wanted to go very much. Initially, I was hesitant about the idea because it was rather impromptu, and I just did not feel like going for an overseas trip now.
But then, I was glad that I decided to go ahead with it. Didn't want to disappoint her too.
Anyway, it was also my virgin overseas trip without my parents around!
So...
We stayed at Grand Diamond Suites Hotel which was super near Platinum Fashion Mall. Just next door! Haha.
Some highlights of the trip included body oil massage and foot massage!
Haha. It was my 2nd time having oil massage. The other time was during my stay at BKK too, at this "Lek Massage Centre" near Novotel. This time round we just went straight to the massage service floor in our hotel.
In case you don't know, you are required to strip when you do oil massage. Yes. I wore only a disposable briefs as given. But of course a towel is used to cover lower part of body!
I remember the lady doing oil massage on me. When she was massaging my front upper body, she said I have a strong stomach and asked me if I did exercise. Haha. I figured she was referring to my 6-pack abs. LOL.
So anyway, it was only a 4-days 3-nights stay there, or maybe less than that, but we had lots of fun!
Loads of shopping from Platinum Fashion Mall to MBK to Siam Square.
Though I'm not a fan of the food there, I do think that some food like Tom Yum Goong can be really delicious! At least the one we had at "Somboondee" restaurant on the first night was very tasty!

Check out the hotel room! There's a living room, kitchen and a bedroom each! So COOL right! Haha.

On our way back from Chak Tu Chat, it was pouring badly. Look at the streets. All flooded with rainwater. Seriously, they need to REFORM!!!

Lots of pics taken while waiting for our flight back.. ^^Overall, it was an enjoyable trip! Luckily we came back in time before the riots. Didn't really see anything amiss during our stay there.
