My first ever Teacher's Day gift. From my two lil tutees. =)
Xavier was whispering into Joanna's ear that "it is a diary" which was so loud that I could hear without eavesdropping la. Haha. That's really cute. Cos after which he came over to me and asked me to make a guess, saying the gift starts with a "D". And here's what I got. A "Kungfu Panda" diary with a keylock. Joanna emphasized that she bought it with her own money somemore. Lol. Thanks a bunch kids.
You know what excited them on that lesson? I told them they ought to write journals for me to read. I mean, they are doing it for school already but I want to read them as they are written for me. I find it rather amusing actually, reading through their school's journal books. Except for the grammatical errors, the simple ideas jotted down are just so true to themselves and so reflective of a child's inner thoughts. Of course, the idea of keeping a journal for tuition will appeal to them!
For the past few days, met up with a few cliques.
There's the GSC gang, which was quite a surprise meet-out for me. Went jp's Fish & Co to have dinner. Xingle going back to Beijing on Thursday le! Take care ok, girl! :)
And here's meeting up with Ah neh and ron at jp again. Some meetup for Ah neh's birthday. By the way, happy belated birthday bro! Enjoy Club 22!! Hahah.
Alright peeps. So much for now.
I have one bad news though. I failed an online quiz for a module. Gosh. But anyway, not going to brood much over it.
Life still goes on right?
So come on, laugh with me. Or at least, force a smile ya? =)
